Our Mission

We exist to make disciples who live in God's story for the glory of God & the good of the neighborhood and nations.

Mission & Values

Core Values:
1. The Word of God does the work of God: The Bible is the Word of God; therefore, it forms the basis for what we believe and how we live. The Bible is central in all that we do.  Our services are saturated in the Bible.  Our preaching mostly involves walking through different books of the Bible.  We have a yearly Bible reading plan that we encourage all people to follow.  In addition, Bible study is central to our groups, kid's ministry and student ministry

2. The centrality of the Gospel (Define, Defend & Declare the Gospel): At the center of Christianity is not good advice but good news about what God has done through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, lived a perfect life, died on a cross for sins, rose from the dead, and is coming back one day. He did this for the salvation of those who receive Him and for the restoration of a world that has been ravaged by sin.  We keep the Gospel central in all things and seek to define it, defend it and declare it.

3. Reaching the unreached: Jesus left his followers with a mission to go into all the world and preach the Good News. There are over 6000 unreached people groups in the world (people with little to no access to the Gospel). We are committed to supporting missionaries, sending teams, planting churches, and sharing the Gospel among these people.

4. Go deep (make disciples, not just converts): Jesus told His church to “go and make disciples...teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you.”  We want to help people go deep in their understanding of God, in their devotion to Christ, and in their influence to others.

5. Teach the Next Generation: We are committed to strengthening families and teaching children and students to know and love God.

6. Pray First: We believe that prayer should be foundational to all that we do.  "Pray first" is a moto for us.  We want prayer to be our first response at all times.

7. "Not to us" mentality: Psalm 115:1 says, “not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name give glory.”  We live in the selfie-generation. Perhaps at no other time in human history has there been a people so obsessed with self. Yet we are convinced that we were not made for ourselves but for something bigger. We were created to live with God at the center. The starting point for understanding ourselves and the world is always God. So as a church, we want to lead people to encounter the greatness of God.

8. Act like family: The primary metaphor for the church in the New Testament is the family.  We are brothers and sisters with God as our Father.  So, we want to love one another like family.
